If you have concerns regarding any product purchased from Half Price Imports please email half.price.imports@gmail.com with clear images and description of your concern straight away.
*Most issues are easily resolved with a clear description and images of the issue prior to having the item returned for further evaluation.
Half Price Imports Requests Customers:
-Read Manufacturer's handbook prior to assembling your Go Kart/Bike or ATV.
-Assemble Go Kart/Bike or ATV as per instructions provided.
-Use Unleaded Petrol with High Quality 2 Stroke Oil as recommended by the manufacturer.
-Start the engine and allow warm up for 2-3 minutes before test driving.
-Do not allow the engine to operate at low revs as this may overheat and damage the clutch. This warranty does not cover damage to the clutch through overheating.
-Test ride and notify us immediately if there is a fault found with the go kart.
-Do not attempt to do any repairs without contacting Half Price Imports first as this will void warranty.
-If a defect is found at this point Half Price Imports will replace parts that are damaged or defective.
Assessment:
Assessment of any warranty concern will incur a $100 service fee upon delivery. If assessment was to identify a manufacturing issue Half Price Imports will issue a full $100 refund via internet banking.
Warranty:
Half Price Imports Warrants Go Karts/Bikes or ATV’s to be free of manufacturer's defect for a period of 60 days from the original date of purchase. (non-wearing parts). The steel frame is covered by a 12 month warranty. Warranty Period is for Recreational Use. The warranty period begins on the date the product is first sold to a purchaser/customer.
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Please note that this does not include consumable items such as inner-tubes, tires, wheel bearings, throttle cables, etc. The liability is limited to repair and/or replacement of the product under warranty. The warranty is invalidated if the defect is caused by misuse, neglect, tampering, incorrect adjustment, modification, overloading or unauthorised persons carry out any alterations.
The customer must provide Half Price Imports reasonable opportunity to repair, and reasonable access to the product for warranty service/repair. Warranty claims shall be made by delivering the product for inspection to 134 Turners Road during our advertised operating hours to service/repair the product. If the purchaser/customer can not deliver the product to Half Price Imports the Purchaser/customer in that case shall pay for all related transportation charges and or travel time. If the service/repair provided is not covered by this warranty, the purchaser/customer shall also pay for all related labour and materials. If this was the case the customer would be informed prior to work commencing.
What Is Not Covered
Routine maintenance items • Adjustments • Normal wear and tear • Damage caused by abuse • Abnormal use • Used for jumps • overloading • Overheating • Neglect • Damage by Accident • Submersion • unauthorised modifications • Alteration or removal of parts • Damage to the clutch through overheating, ways overheating may be caused include but not limited to clutch not engaging due to (revs to low) continually driving too slowly. Karts are designed to be driven with high revs to fully engage clutch • Drive chain • Damaged caused by incorrect fuel, oil, or lack of it • consumables, which include but not limited too, tires and tubes, fuel filter, spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, throttle or brake cables, clutch assembly.
